Dr. Xing Gao is currently a senior scientist in the R&D department of Molecular biology at GenScript. Before joining GenScript, Dr.Gao was a Ph.D. researcher in Cardiovascular science at the University of Glasgow (UofG), investigating PTMs regulating the cellular distribution and transmembrane cation flux via TRPM7 and function in cardiovascular diseases. She was awarded the International Society for Development of Research on Magnesium (SDRM) in 2022 and published 7 related papers. Since joining Genscript in 2023, she has been in charge of the Mutant Library project and was involved in more than 20+ library designs for diverse applications.
