So Tsuda joined bitBiome in October, 2020 and assumed his current role in September 2022. He has expertise in interdisciplinary research across biology, engineering, and mathematical modeling. At bitBiome, he is leading new application developments using microbial single-cell genome sequencing technology and massive microbial genomic database. Previously, he worked as a Lord Kelvin-Adam Smith Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, UK (2012), a JSPS Research Fellow (2019), and the General Manager of Application Development at On-Chip Biotechnologies, Co. Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in Biology at Kobe University in 2007.
