Dr. Sandro Koch completed his studies in physics at the University of Dresden, where he earned his PhD in Applied Physics in 2015. He subsequently joined Fraunhofer IPMS as a research scientist, where he has held several research management positions, focusing on MEMS-based acoustic and photonic sensors. Currently, Dr. Koch serves as the Business Unit Manager for "Acoustic Sensors and Systems," overseeing the development of MEMS modules for applications in acoustics, micropositioning, high-frequency modules, and biosynthetic technologies, as well as their transfer to industry.
