I enjoy working in the translational space where I can help convert cutting-edge discoveries to actual therapeutics that can impact people’s lives. In my newest venture, Therna Therapeutics, I am teamed up with top investigators from the UCSF and ARC Institute who have pioneered the work in the intersection of RNA biology and AI and built the largest foundation model for generative RNA design. Leveraging this expertise, we design programable RNA medicines with characteristics that have not been possible before, pushing the boundaries of what nature has been able to do.
