Linda joined the BIA in 2021 to lead on engineering biology, as well as R&D and innovation policy and intellectual property. She works closely with the BIA's Engineering Biology Advisory Committee (EBAC) to shape UK policy in the field, with a focus on commercialisation challenges and engineering biology's potential as a disruptive biotechnology towards global sustainability. Prior to joining BIA, Linda worked as an analyst in university-business collaboration and knowledge exchange in the UK, and as a researcher at a public policy-focused think tank identifying challenges to state-level public service delivery in India. Linda has an MA in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex.
