Klaus leads Novozymes’ activities within Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and started his career as a dedicated scientist in the application space, focusing on the interconnections between research, innovative technologies, and their commercialization.  He has extensive business development experience in helping to deploy biological solutions into bio industrial processes and is a passionate advocate for using large-scale CO2 capture & storage to address the worst impacts of climate change and their serious environmental consequences.
