Jeremy Sauer

Jeremy Sauer is the Senior Director of External Innovation for Oncology Research at Pfizer, focused on scouring the Earth for promising technologies to enable the next generation of cancer therapeutics development. He was previously at Seagen for 7 years holding roles in Business Development working on asset licensing, Early-Stage Clinical Science executing several first-in-human Phase 1 clinical trials, and led Competitive Intelligence support of program strategy across the portfolio from Research to Market. Prior to Seagen he was an Associate Consultant at ZS Associates working on varied commercial analytics projects for several large pharma and worked as a process optimization engineer at Procter & Gamble. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from RPI with joint advisor at Rockefeller University where he co-invented a method for magnetic remote control of cell signaling termed “magnetogenetics” and a BS in Chemical Engineering from UMass Amherst. In spare time, Jeremy is a Recognized BJCP beer judge, amateur mycologist, admires cute cats, and is really into outdoor adventuring of all sorts.
