Friederike is a Director on the Blue Horizon Growth Investing team. Besides her work as an investor and board director of portfolio companies, she co-authored the Food for Thought reports published by Blue Horizon and BCG. Friederike holds a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Oxford, and has been a management consultant with BCG. She maintains a strong network in the scientific community, and is excited about safeguarding humanity’s long-term future. To this end, she co-authored work that informed the research agenda of Oxford's Global Priorities Institute, and is an active member of the effective altruism community.
