Beth is the cofounder and CEO of Umaro Foods, a company unlocking the potential of ocean farmed seaweeds to make delicious and affordable plant-based protein. She is also the leader of an ambitious seaweed farming project, TROFX, a top 60 Milestone Finalist in the $100M Carbon Removal XPRIZE. Beth got her start in at the seaweed biofuels startup Bio Architecture Lab, Inc, and has interdisciplinary science and policy degrees from Harvard and UC Berkeley.
