Benjamina is the founder and CEO of Cambridge-based food tech start-up Uncommon Bio (formally Higher Steaks). Uncommon Bio is a cultivated meat company that has developed creative proprietary technologies which allow them to better address the challenges of cost and scalability of cultivated meat. They created the world's first bacon and pork belly prototypes. Previously, Benjamina co-founded a London-based B2B electronics company. She has also worked at Stratasys, PepsiCo’s joint venture with Strauss and an ed-tech startup. Benjamina holds a Master of Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
