Synthetic biology company taps veteran biotech executive to drive next-generation cell and gene therapy programs into the clinicSOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Senti Biosciences, the leading synthetic biology company developing next-generation adaptive therapies, today announced that Gary Lee, Ph.D., has joined the company as Chief Scientific Officer. As CSO, Dr. Lee will lead the expansion of Senti's synthetic biology technology platform and the advancement of internal cell therapy programs to the clinic in multiple oncology indications.Senti Biosciences develops synthetic gene circuits for adaptive cell and gene therapies that respond dynamically to different disease states. Senti's technology platform enables living cellular therapies that can be controlled once administered, targeted to disease sites, and customized for multifactorial responses based on the disease state and desired therapeutic outcome. Dr. Lee received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from U.C.
