She is also organizing a workshop to happen on October 18th, at Boston University, named IWBMA (International Workshop in Bio-Manufacturing Automation). About DAMP Lab In a moment where a number of cloud-based, automated synthetic biology laboratories are emerging, the DAMP Lab is a unique academic-located environment where in house software tools being developed to rapidly generate a large number of designs that implement desired functionality can be tested and integrated to the pipeline. Our goal is to have a complete synthetic biology technological stack, containing layers as “bioCAD tools”, “LIMS”, “Hardware”, and “Experimental Biology”, using formal representation of protocols. This will allow for more standardized and reproducible research results that can be transferred faster from academia to society. To know more about the DAMP Lab and how to partnership with us, please visit damplab.org or contact damplab@bu.edu. About SynBioBetaSynBioBeta is the leading community of entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers and enthusiasts devoted to the responsible growth of the synthetic biology field. They host international synthetic biology conferences and events that bring the entire community together several times each year, giving anyone the opportunity to meet with the bright minds building and shaping the bio economy.SynBioBeta also offers a highly specialized weekly industry e-digest, newswire and educational courses in addition to providing companies in the industry with opportunities for advertising, partnership, exhibition and sponsorships for promotion.
