 Climate tech startup Again announced a new partnership with the global chemicals organization HELM to distribute and sell its inaugural product, acetic acid. The 10-year contract will leverage HELM’s 120 years of experience and expansive global distribution network with Again's technical expertise in fermenting waste CO2 emissions. Together, the companies will facilitate the manufacturing and distribution of the first 50,000 tons of product. 

Both Again and HELM are deeply committed to sustainability and decarbonizing chemical value chains. Through their partnership, customers across various industries will gain access to highly coveted, competitively priced, and low carbon footprint chemical products.

Praising the collaboration, Andreas Woschek, Executive Vice President of Chemicals at HELM, said, “At HELM, we are highly committed to promoting sustainability and incorporating products from low carbon emitting technologies into our operations. The long-term partnership between Again and HELM will introduce the innovative technology of Again via HELM’s supply chain expertise and market know-how to the chemical markets."

For Again, this agreement marks a significant milestone in scaling up production and commercializing their groundbreaking bio-based climate technology, solidifying their position as a trusted partner to one of the largest independent chemical companies.
