Partnering with Elemental Machines, the Asset Genius solution continuously monitors lab and asset conditions advanced analytics to provide critical utilization data for a 24/7 lab-wide view. The technology eliminates the costly, time-consuming process of manually collecting and recording data—ultimately helping to boost lab productivity, and advance research.
Wireless sensors monitor lab and asset parameters, such as temperature, humidity, air pressure and light, plus utilization of equipment like freezers, refrigerators, ovens and incubators, to ensure that potential problems are addressed quickly.
Data is stored and accessed on a cloud-based platform to allow scientists, as well as lab and facilities managers, to access information at any time from a computer or mobile device. Configurable notifications and proactive alerts reduce the risk of unscheduled downtime of critical lab assets by ensuring all personnel are notified of a potential problem when conditions change.
By aggregating real-time monitoring data with service and operational data, the Asset Genius solution provides comprehensive insight into utilization and productivity metrics for more informed decision-making. Through the interactive visualization dashboards, operations leaders can also view current and historical data to identify trends, support compliance requirements and improve asset management strategies.
