Sr. Compensation Analyst
Mission
Solugen’s mission is to decarbonize chemicals manufacturing. Solugen it’s 10,000 tons per year (tpy) first commercial plant with the potential to offset up to 37,000 tpy of carbon dioxide equivalents.
As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing our compensation programs and strategies. Partnering closely with groups across our organization, you will contribute to the design, administration, and evaluation of various compensation programs. Reporting to the Director of People, you will lead and support initiatives across the team to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, aligned with our business goals, and compliant with relevant regulations. Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you will have opportunities to build new programs and help define our roadmap.
This position will work a hybrid remote schedule with potentially 2 days onsite.
Key Outcomes
- Clear and accurate job descriptions for each position, reflecting the work performed, in collaboration with talent acquisition and business partners. Job descriptions are benchmarked against survey data and market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Compliance of all compensation programs with federal and state laws while aligning with organizational business objectives. Assessment of job duties to determine exempt or nonexempt classification, and establishment of appropriate salary ranges. Contribution of organizational data to compensation surveys and regular presentation of summary reports on job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Expertise in compensation program design, development, and implementation. Effective project management for compensation programs, policies, and practices. Management of annual salary administration programs, including the creation and maintenance of salary structures, incentive programs, and budgets for promotions or salary increases. Active participation in the administration of annual performance management, incentive, or salary increase programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP or CCP preferred.
- At least four to six years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
