Alfred Ho is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Morph Bioinformatics – an iGEM startup offering tailored solutions, mobile apps and a social platform for bioscientists and bioinformaticians. He just completed his degree in Biomedical Sciences at University College London and has worked on antigenic profiling of malaria proteins at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine during his bachelor’s thesis. Alfred is currently a dual-PhD student in vaccinology at Imperial College London and The University of Hong Kong, where he aspires to develop a chimeric hemagglutinin influenza recombinant vaccine to stimulate broadly protective immunity, under the joint supervision of Prof Wendy Barclay and Dr Mike Skinner (Imperial) and Dr Leo Poon (HKU).
