Alexander Williams – Bioinformatics Software Engineer

Alexander Williams received an MS in Computer Science from Stanford in 2004 and an MS in Bioinformatics from Santa Cruz in 2010, where he worked on drug target prediction in yeast. He maintains a repository of command-line scientific tools (“TimeForScience” on Google Code) and dabbles in iPhone app development. He is currently a bioinformatics software engineer at The Gladstone Institutes at UC San Francisco.
