Molecular Biology Research Scientist, Cemvita Factory, Houston, TX

Cemvita Factory is a small biotech startup with a big mission: we are applying synthetic biology to reverse climate  change. We do this by engineering microbes to use carbon dioxide or methane as a feedstock to produce carbon negative industrial chemicals. Our clients are oil and gas, chemical, mining, and aerospace companies that strive to  apply nature-inspired technologies for reducing their carbon footprint while creating new revenue streams.

Are you inspired to change the world and looking for tangible ways to make an impact? Does our mission – applying synthetic biology to reverse climate change – resonate with you? If so, we want to hear from you.

Cemvitans are passionate about science and proud of our work, not afraid to think big and defy the impossible,  and always ready to embrace multidisciplinary approaches. We work in a certain way, The Cemvita Way, which is  based on first-principles, where everyone strives to raise the bar every day and be a force-multiplier.
