Riffyn’s mission is to unlock the full potential of today’s science by delivering clean, connected, meaningful data the moment it is collected.

The Role

We seek an experienced Director of System Integrations to lead a team of engineers that will build and extend Riffyn’s extensibility infrastructure, integration drivers, and data transformation engines needed for seamless interoperability between Riffyn’s cloud-based software and local data assets at customer sites. The Director of System Integrations will work directly with Riffyn’s Head of Product Development to extend and mature Riffyn’s process design and analytics software to work in an open, connected ecosystem of data producers and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of engineers that includes core engineers and field engineers

  • Support capture and consumption of data from/to 3rd party systems

  • Field engineering

    • Support drivers, data transformations, plugins and connectors

    • Help define and utilize industry standards

    • Solve customer specific integration problems between Riffyn and other systems

  • Core engineering

    • Expand and mature the Riffyn API capabilities

    • Architect and build the Riffyn extensibility capabilities

Background/Qualifications

Personal

  • Customer-service minded

  • Problem solving, can do attitude

  • Ability to make hands-on technical contributions

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering

Experience

  • Track record of successful technical integrations in enterprise environments

  • Vendor management / customer service experience (internal or external)

  • Experienced in lab or process manufacturing automation environment

  • Prior leadership experience

 Product ownership

  • Prior software leadership experience

  • Expert in SDLC and commercial-quality software delivery

  • Able to solicit and distill needs from customer to develop requirements

  • Able to abstract and generalize to develop scalable requirements

  • Able define strategy and roadmap, and distill to actionable technical plans

  • Able to prioritize competing development needs
